Nimida United Sports Development Private Limited was set up in 2019 with a focus on developing sporting talent via a grassroots structure and providing a defined progression pathway for an athlete onto the national stage. With an emphasis on team sports such as Football, Hockey, Cricket and Basketball the company has set up an academy in Bengaluru, centered around local player development programs. The goal is to ensure the best that come through will be on par with the best in the country.

Gaurav Manchanda is the Managing Director of Nimida Sports. Passionate about sport, he believes it has the power to unite diverse cultural and societal strands. “At Nimida, we are keenly aware that our processes must go far beyond operating a professional team and player development system that only serves the outcome of competing and producing players. We intend to contribute towards the growth of the game by engineering a game culture through our identity, benchmarks and deep connection with the citizens of Bengaluru,” he says.
